Help Them Resettle In Our Community

LSS is right now moving several refugee and Afghan evacuees into their new homes!

Thank you to all who have stepped up to help with locating apartments and homes, moving heavy furniture, cleaning and setting up household items and more. Thanks also for the very generous financial and other donations including gift cards and household kits.

Your help is needed now more than ever!

Please email if you can offer any of the following support:

  • Available housing options within 100 miles of Milwaukee, Wis. Apartments and entire homes are needed for individuals and families between two and 15 people.
  • Trucks with drivers and strong adults for moving heavy furniture.
  • Clean and organize warehouse
  • Inventory and organize household items into grab-and-go containers
  • Clean and prepare apartments for new arrivals (e.g., make up beds, set out towels, set up plates, cookware, etc.)

We also need co-sponsor groups, volunteers, financial gifts and in-kind donations. Please refer to our FAQ for information and email with your offering. For cash donations, click the donate button on this page or text LSSREFUGEE to 41444 using your cell phone.
