Make the Ride Happen

We offer a centralized transportation service called Make the Ride Happen, available to seniors in Outagamie, Calumet, Waupaca, and Winnebago counties.

 


This area is fortunate to have a variety of transportation options for older adults and people who have disabilities, but these services have various requirements and navigating through them can be complicated. Make the Ride Happen will help you find the best transportation options for your needs.

Get where you need to go 

Make the Ride Happen can help you get to medical appointments, grocery shopping, day programs, hair salons, banks and pharmacies. We’ll identify the best transportation option for you, which might be public bus, paratransit, rural and meal site transportation, or volunteer driver programs. Our staff can also help drivers complete certification for Outagamie County paratransit, and schedules volunteer driver programs.

Mobility Management Services

Make the Ride Happen is a leader in mobility management, an innovative approach to managing and delivering coordinated transportation services to customers, including older adults, people with disabilities and individuals with lower incomes. Mobility management focuses on meeting individual customer needs through a wide range of transportation options and service providers; and, coordinating these services and providers to achieve a more efficient transportation service delivery system.

Cycling Without Age

Make The Ride Happen will add a network of trained volunteers who can provide free trishaw bicycle rides, allowing older adults and those with differing abilities the opportunity to spend time outdoors interacting with their community.
