Genesis House is a supportive 12-bed Transitional Residential Treatment (TRT) facility for men living with a substance use disorder.

Residents typically stay at Genesis House for 30 to 180 days, with nine hours of group therapy per week, providing time to practice the skills and knowledge they gain during treatment. While at Genesis House, residents may obtain employment and begin their transition back to independent living.

Genesis House has been in continuous operation within the community for more than 40 years. Located in a residential neighborhood, it affords the residents with a home like feel, and is in close proximity to public transportation and a variety of services. 

Genesis House provides:

  • Employment and housing resources
  • Onsite and community self-help
  • Mental health and AODA support groups
