Outreach

Refugee & Immigrant Services

There are many ways to help.

We provide initial resettlement services including case management, job preparation and placement, and connection to community volunteers to help with structured guidance and teaching. Community support groups and churches are needed to help with finding housing, gather needed donations of furniture and clothes, assist with moving and furnishing apartments for new arrivals and more.

Church Relations

RESOURCES FOR OUR CHURCH PARTNERS

We are blessed by the support we receive from more than 800 Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregations throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Many congregations work with us to change lives by “adopting” a program or service, conducting service projects to support a specific program, hosting Shared Ministry events, providing financial support, referring individuals to our services, and keeping our organization in their prayers. Learn more about the resources and opportunities available to our church partners.

Disaster Response

HELPING FAMILIES REBUILD

When a natural disaster hits an area, it can tear apart the world of everyone living there. We recognize the challenges faced the residents living in neighborhoods and towns impacted by natural disasters. Our trained staff members can help families and neighborhoods rebound.

Advocacy

MAKING OUR VOICES HEARD

We advocate on behalf of our clients and programs, supporting new and different strategies that will impact our everyday work and the lives of our clients.
