Peter believes that every person has within them a deep desire for acceptance, significance and truth, but that the circumstances of life often leave each of us with our own wounds to heal from and our own unique challenges to overcome.
For someone who is deeply hurting, or perhaps is ready for a new chapter in their life, counseling can be an important first step towards health and positive change. Peter sees counseling as a collaborative process which can provide a setting without judgment or shame; where a person has the opportunity to explore different, healthier ways of being. Peter has experience working with adults dealing with depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, marital and relationship issues, panic, stress, and difficult life transitions. Peter has a master’s degree in clinical counseling, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training and a Substance Abuse Counselor in Training.
