Angela has worked in behavioral health for ten years within residential facilities, a psychiatric hospital and outpatient therapy. These diverse experiences help her to compassionately view client concerns. She enjoys helping to facilitate changes clients want in their lives - to help increase calm, happiness, healing, and balance; to see clients create satisfying relationships; to witness them uncover empowerment where there used to be struggles, such as addiction, personal crisis, or loss. Angela enjoys working with people to find where they want to be, map out how to get there, and start moving.
Angela is dually licensed by the state of Wisconsin to provide both behavioral health and substance abuse counseling. She is trained in Brain Spotting, an innovative treatment for healing from trauma. She is also certified in Multicultural Competencies and has substantial clinical experience providing affirming services to men, ethnic minorities, and people who identify as LGBT.
