Residential Services

LSS serves children and adults with developmental, physical disabilities and persons who have serious and persistent mental illness.  A variety of residential settings are available through LSS to fit the needs of our clients.  From around the clock support and care, to supervision for those who are more independent and need minimal supports. 

Living arrangements could be a single apartment or larger homes. LSS also provides supports such as medical monitoring and personal cares, financial assistance, housekeeping, and recreational support.  Essentially, supports are developed around the needs of the individual.

Adult Family Homes Certification

Adult Family Homes are homes within your community where LSS places individuals who are 18 years or older and cannot live independently due to aging, mental illness, or physical disabilities. Adult Family Homes serve as an alternative to nursing homes or institutional care and provide safety, supervision, and stability for individuals. They are designed to develop and maintain the skills and independence of the individual.

Placements are mutually agreed upon and are arranged and supervised through LSS. Each home may be certified to receive up to two adults.
