Homme Youth & Family Programs

About Us

As a program of Lutheran Social Services (LSS) of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan, Homme Youth and Family Programs has been committed to treating each child as an infinitely valuable individual for over 100 years.  This is a nationally-known treatment program for children and adolescents dealing with issues of sexual perpetration, delinquency, victimization, alcohol and drug abuse, cognitive behavioral issues or dual diagnosis, and independent living support.

Our main campus rests on over 400 acres of wooded land and streams in central Wisconsin. Within this tranquil setting, children and families discover they can regain control of their lives and recover from their issues. Four of Homme's male units are located in Wittenberg, WI. Homme's female treatment programs are also located in Wittenberg, WI, providing two units to customize services based on the needs of each youth.

Homme features sight and sound supervision, recreational opportunities, treatment specific programming, on-campus accredited school, enhancement and family centers, care advocate specialists, allowance earning opportunities, transportation for home visits, medication management, case management services, on-grounds accredited school, and psychiatric services.  We strive to wrap ourselves around the youth and family to enable the family to make healthy choices. All of our units provide awake overnight staff coverage.
