Child Care

LSS Child Care:
Integrated childcare and preschool services for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. LSS childcare services are inclusive and welcome children with special needs.  Please contact a location nearest you for more information and a tour of the facility. 

The Waukesha and Janesville locations are also contracted with the local school district to provide four year old kindergarten with a DPI certified teacher.  The program is designed to meet the cognitive, social/emotional, and physical developmental needs of the four year old.  This is a tuition free program for children whom reside in the Waukesha or Janesville School District.  Please call these locations for more information.

The services of the Keefe Family Resource Center are designed to strengthen families and eliminate child abuse and neglect. We promote a nurturing environment to reach families early in their lives. Our staff works to encourage positive family growth and healthy child development through comprehensive wrap-around and family-centered programming. Strong families lead to positive changes in a community. Through our services, we strive to make our neighborhood a better place to live and raise a family. 

Our after-school program is open to children, ages 7-12, Monday through Friday. There are a variety of activities available for the children, including:

• Computer-enhanced learning activities
• Educational videos
• Games
• Art projects

This program located within John Muir Elementary School, offers both before and after school services for school age children from 5-12 years of age.  The center is designed as a safe place for children to attend both before and after school.  A variety of activities are available for the children including homework assistance, art projects and large and small motor activities.  Children may enroll either full or part time.  Please call for current rates and availability.
