Volunteer Position Descriptions: |

|
English as a Second Language tutor Assist refugees in improving their English comprehension, speaking and writing skills. |
||||||||||
|
Interpreters and Translators |
||||||||||
|
Basis Finance tutor Teach refugees finance skills including currency, basic math, budgeting, writing checks, banking, etc.. |
||||||||||
|
Mentors Befriend a refugee individual or family and help them adjust to life in the United States. The goal is to provide them with necessary information and orientation to their community as well as companionship. |
||||||||||
|
Homework Helper Assist refugee children with their homework since many of them have not received good education in refugee camps. |
