Refugee & Immigration Services: How You Can Help
The Refugee and Immigrant Services Program is always in need of furniture,
gifts and donations. You can support our refugee families by donating
basic household items. All donations and gifts are matched with
letters that document your tax-deductible donation. We discourage the
donation of items that are in need of repair or cleanings

We are collecting the following furniture items for families without relatives / co-sponsors. We only accept items in good condition.
- Twin and double bed set
- Kitchen table with chairs
- Couch and living room chairs
- Dresser
- Coffee / end table
- Lamps
- Baby crib
- TV
Household Items
We also collect items that all households need. Items can be used but
need to be in good condition.
- Kitchen items - dishes, pots, pans, utensils, silverware, toaster,
microwave, rice cooker, etc.
- Bed items - sheets, blankets, new pillows, etc.
- Bath items - towels, personal hygiene items, etc.
When churches are unable to co-sponsor refugees, they often support our program by donating various welcome boxes.
Grocery stores and department stores have gift certificates for items that the family could chose on a more personal basis. This is a great donation from groups that cannot co-sponsor, but would like to contribute to our efforts.
Refugee families without sponsor or relatives are supported by generous financial contributions by community. This small fund is used to help refugees pay for basic necessities such as rent, food, etc.
