Prescription Drug Addiction Video

Prescription drug addiction, a problem that while growing exponentially, still remains quite unrecognized by both the general public and the professional community. Check out the video addressing prescription drug addiction, featuring Dick Williams, Supervisor at the Fahrman Center, a program of Lutheran Social Services. The Fahrman Center is a 43 bed adult, co-ed residential treatment center that has been providing addiction treatment in west central Wisconsin for over 25 years. The Center provides primary inpatient residential treatment as well as transitional residential treatment (halfway house).

Thuy Smith International Outreach hosts an annual recovery celebration, which the Fahrman Center has sponsored since its inception, assisting with both providing and serving food. This is a great annual celebration that Fahrman residents have become involved with and it broadens their connections to the recovery community at large and provides them an opportunity to give back.
