Nonprofit Voter Engagement Training

Lutheran Social Services, along with several other area nonprofits, is co-sponsoring a voter engagement training in July. The training will help nonprofits understand what they can do to promote voter registration and engage with candidates in the 2012 election.

Date: Monday, July 16, 9-11AM (registration/continental breakfast: 8:30) 

Location: Alliance for Children & Families, 11700 W. Lake Park Drive, Milwaukee 

Guest Speaker: George Pillsbury, Executive Director, Nonprofit VOTE

Co-sponsors: Alliance for Children and Families (host), Nonprofit VOTE, Wisconsin Nonprofits, The Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee, United Neighborhood Centers of Milwaukee, League of Women Voters Wisconsin, League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County, Disability Rights Wisconsin, Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition, and Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
