WORD FOR THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 15, 2009
   

~ VETERAN ~

Although Veteran’s Day has come and gone, our military personnel continue to serve throughout the world.  They are many, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard men and women who have sacrificed in ways we who have never served cannot understand.  We are indebted to them, and sometimes we forget how much.  God forgive us, and help us to be peacemakers, so that wars may cease and all the soldiers everywhere can come home, to continue their duties in building up the world for the good of all!                                                                                 

God of all the worlds, guide this nation by Your Spirit to go forward in justice and freedom.  Give to all our people the blessings of well being and harmony, but above all things give us faith in You, so that our nation may bring glory to Your name and blessings to all peoples, through Jesus our Savior and Lord.  Amen.
